Or visit with Joe Carr at the Market on Saturdays. The Market is open all year on Saturdays. During peak season from April to September they are open on Tuesday mornings too! 7:00 a.m. to noon.

Fort Smith Western Heritage Month Relive the heritage of Fort Smith with events throughout the month of May. There will be a ton of things happening in Downtown during May!  Events begin May 1st and end the last day of the Rodeo....This week end ( Memorial Week end) Has so much going on! Of Course the Farmers Market will have fantastic foods and crafts with some music from some of our favorite locals...A Shootout Contest on Saturday, Pancake Breakfast at Immaculate Conception Church Monday Morning at 6a.m., Color Dash Fun 5K at 10:00, Parade at 10:00, Optimist Kids Carnival during the parade in the parking lot in the 800 block of Rogers, so much I don't have room...
Second Street Live Back Home

The Park at West End! Come to Downtown  and ride one of the original Ferris wheels from the Worlds Fair in the 1950's. It has been chosen as one of the top10 most romantic places in Arkansas. You can ride the carousel too and enjoy a snow cone at the double decker bus or a burger in the renovated dining car, called the Boom-a-rang Diner! For more information and a schedule 
Historic Plaques Donated to Downtown  These are extremely cool. Having our great history team up with a bit of modern technology allows citizens and tourist to literally have additional hours of fun on the avenue. You can get an idea of how cool this is by checking out the videos here on our site. Check It OUT! We also want to thank the private investors who made this all happen.

Open all year with peak season beginning in May. All year selling on Saturdays and then peak, Tuesdays and Saturdays,60+ vendors set up to sell authentic, home grown, baked, and crafted goods.  7am to noon.  2nd & Garrison . Want to be a vendor?  While you enjoy the sights and sounds Downtown, park for free at 2nd & Garrison and catch the Downtown Rubber Wheel Trolley. The Trolley loops the district and will come back and pick you up when you ask them to.
