The Downtown Farmers
Market at 2nd & Garrison is currently open year round on Saturday from 7am
to noon. Before peak season, only the vendors who have things to sell during
the winter months come in to the market. During the peak season from May to September on most Saturdays the
market will have over 50 vendors selling produce, breads, pies, flowers,
trees, honey, fish, soaps, salsa, etc! Also during the peak season, May
to September, the
Market is open on Tuesday's from 7am to noon and some Thursday's.
All schedules are subject to weather permitting.
We take pride in this market that all of
the items for sale are in fact home grown, baked, caught or crafted! If you
are wanting to sell prepared food please contact the Sebastian County Health
Department at 479-452-8600. Also if you have any kind of fresh meats you
will need to be USDA certified and have your paperwork posted. You can again
contact the Local Health Department for instructions on what you are
planning to sell. And again, everything sold at this market must be produced
by the vendor. Nothing purchased to be then resold is allowed.
If you would like to be a
vendor please come by the market during 7 am to noon on Saturday,
weather permitting, and speak to Joe Carr or Matt Newton. You can also download a vendor
registration form here and bring it with you. Please read the application
and rules carefully as they have changed. Thanks for visiting the site
and enjoy the market! Download Registration Form.
